: Andrea Belz was previously co-Principal Investigator (PI), Director, and Research PI of the grants named above, prior to service as Division Director at the National Science Foundation. Her research group collected these data prior to her selection as Division Director and all research was conducted with a combination of publicly available data sources and a survey instrument developed within the University of Southern California and given an IRB exemption. To manage the potential conflicts of interest she resigned her administrative roles on the grants and was recused from all matters related to them.
