: Cancerous tissues and adjacent tissues (<i>n</i> = 40) were collected from patients pathologically diagnosed with HCC in Ningbo First Hospital (2017.01–2018.12). The clinical trial was approved by the ethics committee of Ningbo First Hospital (No.2017-01-002-XHWK). Informed consents were signed by all sample providers. The surgically removed liver cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were washed with saline and stored in liquid nitrogen.
