: All the experiments in the study were performed following the guidelines of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) (1987), for the care and use of laboratory animals, whereby it is mandatory to obtain prior approval of the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) before the establishment of any disease model of experimental animals. The entire study was conducted as per protocols duly approved by the IAEC of CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP), Lucknow. The experiments of anti-allergic activities were carried out under the protocol CIMAP/IAEC/2020-23/16 and those related to safety study were done under the protocol CIMAP/IAEC/2020-23/22, which were approved by the IAEC constituted under the Committee for Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CCSEA), Govt. of India.
