: The project was subjected to ethical evaluation and obtained approval from the ethics committee of the Vice President of Research at Iran University of Medical Sciences. The ethics committee assigned the project the code IR.IUMS.FMD.REC.1401.036.
: The project exclusively used a commercially available cell line - the A549 cells - which were obtained from the Pastor Institute of Iran and have an authentic certificate. Therefore, there was no need to obtain consent from any patients.
