: Rat pheochromocytoma (PC12) cells were purchased from Cell Bank of Type Culture Collection of the Chinese Academy of Science (Shanghai, China). PC12 cells were derived from NIH in the United States and are the fifth generation in China. Fifty 8-weeks old Sprague-Dawley (SD) male rats (200 ± 20 g) which were purchased from the Experimental Animal Center of Guangxi Medical University (the production and use licenses for experimental animals are SCXK GUI 2020-0003 and SYXK GUI 2020-0004). All animal handling and surgical procedures were performed in accordance with the guidelines of the Animal Ethics Committee of Guangxi Medical University.
