: All interviewees were provided with a participant information and consent form prior to their interview. The participant information described: (1) the purpose of the research. (2) What participation in the research involves. (3) Risks and disadvantages for participating in the project. (4) What might happen if the interviewee withdraws from the project. (5) What will be done with the data. (6) Ethical approval. (7) Appeal processes and contact information. The participant information also explained that consent is an ongoing process, and they can withdraw at any time until the results have been published. This was attached to a consent form. Participants were asked to sign that they consented to participating in the research. The contents of the form were then reiterated at the start of each interview, and consent was reaffirmed.

As such, a ‘low-risk’ application was submitted to the University of Melbourne’s Human Research Ethics Committee on 11 March 2015 (Ethics ID: 1543717.1).
