: The plant materials used in this study were obtained from the gene bank collection of the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, Akdeniz University. The original collection of these local genotypes from various regions of Türkiye was conducted as part of previous research projects in compliance with national regulations on plant genetic resources. For this study, no special permissions or licenses were required for the use of these already-acquired and maintained genotypes, as the research was conducted within the university’s research infrastructure using its own genetic repository.
