Plant materials were gathered from wild populations located on public land, not subject to private ownership or specific collection restrictions. No specific collection permit was required. The plant species included in this study were checked against the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species and the Appendices of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and were not found to be listed.
