Conflicts of interest
: Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health developed the ACG methodology used in this study, and Johns Hopkins University receives royalties for non-academic use of software based on the ACG methodology. HYC, CK, CP, JPW and KAG received a portion of their salary support from this revenue. KAG has a research grant from Novo Nordisk, and is a paid consultant to Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly. After the completion of their involvement in this work, MAB joined Optum as a full-time employee, HYC joined Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine as a full-time employee, and KAG joined the American Board of Obesity Medicine Foundation as an employee. MAB holds stock in UnitedHealth Group and HYC holds stock in Johnson & Johnson.
