: All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. All subjects gave written informed consent for the analysis and anonymous publication of research findings. Women diagnosed with GAD and / or who presented scores ≥20 points of depressive symptoms on the scale BDI-II were referred to the reference unit of the city, according to the distance of their residence.
