Animal Testing and Ethics
: The content and experiments with animals complied with the recommendations of the European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals used in Experimental Research (1997), the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GOST (Russian State Standard Specifications) R 33044-2014, the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation No. 199n dated April 1, 2016 “On approval of the Rules of Good Laboratory Practice”), the Directive 2010/63/EU of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union dated September 22, 2010 “On the protection of animals used for scientific purposes”, as well as with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2009 (“General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”). Ethical review was conducted by the Local Ethics Committee of the Volgograd State Medical University (registration No. IRB 00005839 IORG 0004900 (OHRP), certificate No. 2024/212 dated February 5, 2024.
