: This experiment does not involve human or animal studies, and the relevant plant materials are artificial cultivation. The A. argyi in this study is a perennial herb that is widely used in traditional Chinese medicine. It is a common herb and does not fall under the category of protected plant species. The artificial cultivated A. argyi leaves were identified and preserved by corresponding author Professor Liu Dahui’s team. Therefore, we made sure that we had Professor Liu’s permission to collect and use A. argyi in this experiment. Plant material is collected in accordance with relevant institutional, national and international guidelines and regulations.
