Seeds of F. tataricum (sample k-17) are from the collections of the N. I. Vavilov Institute of Plant Genetic Resources, Saint Petersburg, Russia. Obtained seeds were multiplied in the Plant Cytogenetic and Molecular Biology Group, Institute of Biology, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. F. tataricum sample k-17 is a common cultivated landrace of F. tataricum, and seeds are available on request from the authors of the publication. Seeds of F. esculentum genotype Panda are commercially available and were purchased from the Malopolska Plant Breeding Company. Seeds of F. homotropicum are from the collections of the University of Debrecen, Hungary (Dr Nóra Mendlerné Drienyovszki). Obtained seeds were multiplied in the Plant Cytogenetic and Molecular Biology Group, Institute of Biology, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. F. homotropicum is a common cultivated landrace of F. homotropicum, and seeds are available on request from the authors of the publication.
