Compliance with ethical standards
: Experimental animals were kept, maintained, and treated in strict compliance with accepted standards for the humane treatment of animals. All the experimental procedures involving the use of animals (growth trial and digestibility trial) were carried out in compliance with both the animal welfare regulations of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. The protocol for the experiment was approved by the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (Reference No: IAEC/CVASMTY/16/17-18) as an essential requirement for performing the animal experiment.
