: Permission to carry out the study was granted by the Ugandan National Council for Science and Technology under the reference number A497. Consent from the District veterinary officer was obtained prior to the start of interviews in Mukono District. All participants were informed that the study was voluntary and confidential, and that they had the choice of ending their participation at any time of the interview. An informed consent was given by all participants prior to the implementation of the study.
