: The Indian rock agama <i>Psammophilus dorsalis</i> is not covered under the Schedules of the Indian Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1973, therefore collection permits were not required. All capture and handling protocols were approved by Institutional Animal Ethics Committee at Indian Institute of Science (CAF/Ethics/394/2014).
