Local institutional review board and ethics committee (A.O.U.I Verona, dept. of Urology, University of Verona) approvals were obtained. Local Ethics Committee for Clinical Trials (CESC) determined that the approval for this investigation was unnecessary since it only involved standard clinical practice.
