: The Committee of Ethics in the Use of Animals (CEUA) of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechny of the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) evaluated and approved all procedures involving dogs that were attended and followed up in the study carried out in the Teaching Hospital of Veterinary Medicine of UFBA under permit number CEUA-034/2016.
