: All gull specimens included in this study were collected during selective culling campaigns under the supervision of the authors, with permits issued by the governments of Chubut and Buenos Aires Province (Dispositions N° 15/16, N° 60/17, N° 03/18, N° 78/19, N° 43/16 and N°30/17). In addition, the gull carcasses were used for additional bacteriological and parasitological studies.
