This study describes the clinical management of naturally acquired Knemidokoptes pilae infestation in client-owned budgerigars presented for routine veterinary care. Written informed consent was obtained from the bird owners for diagnostic procedures, treatment, and the use of clinical data and images for publication purposes. As no experimental procedures were performed and all interventions were part of standard veterinary practice, formal Ethics and Welfare Committee approval was not required in accordance with institutional guidelines.
