The study also complied with the guidelines by Development Oriented Non-Governmental Organizations (DONGOs) and the statutory provisions in Ghana for the conduct of research.
: Informed consent was obtained from all individual participants included in the study. Respondents were informed about the objectives of the research and were made to understand that the study is scientific and confidential in nature. The respondents were also made to understand that the study is given a global and anonymous treatment to any data collected. Questionnaire was then administered to respondents who in this case are members of DONGOs to solicit information about the operations of their entities regarding economic and social issues.
