The survey was distributed through the authors’ personal social media networks and shared with industry contacts known through prior professional engagements. The authors’ experience in the mining sector informed the study’s methodology and practical interpretation of results. No incentives were offered for survey distribution. Given the survey’s anonymous nature and the study’s academic purpose, the authors consider there to be no conflict of interest affecting the collection, analysis or interpretation of data.
