: Carcasses of animals were provided by Fukushima City with the permission of the governor of Fukushima Prefecture under the Wildlife Protection and Hunting Management Law. The capture and euthanasia methods were in accordance with the guidelines of the management plan stated above and should not be an ethical concern.
