: LS has received grants from the Medical Research Council of the UK and UnionStrong Technology and is a member of the data and safety monitoring board (DSMB) for the PROTECT-MT, MILD-MT, PATH-ICAS, and TNK-MeVO trials. CSA has received grants from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) of Australia, and the Medical Research Council and Medical Research Foundation of the UK and AstraZeneca have paid to his institution. He also receives advisory committee fees for AstraZeneca and Auzone. He is the President-elect of the World Stroke Organisation, editor-in-chief of Cerebrovascular Diseases , and associate editor of the International Journal of Stroke. He is a member of the DSMB for the PROTECT-MT, MAGIC-MT, and DIST trials.
