: The study was approved by the Ethical Committee of the Catholic University of Croatia (class 112-01/19 − 04/14, number 498-03-01-04/2-19-02, date May 5, 2019). The study was done in line with the Code of Ethics of the university, Code of Ethics of the Croatian Psychological Chamber, GDPR, and the Code of Ethics for Research with Children.
: Written informed consent for the conduct of the project “Digital technology in the family: patterns of behavior and effects on the child development” and its studies in elementary schools was obtained from the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia (class 602-02/20 − 03/00039, number 533-05-20-0004, date April 24, 2020). Written informed consent was obtained from the principals of elementary schools for the conduct of the longitudinal study in schools. Written informed consents were obtained from children and their parents for participation in the longitudinal study.
