: A standardized prior informed consent statement was read to each respondent in Bahasa Indonesia at the beginning of the survey, under the conditions that the data will be used for scientific purposes and individually identifying information would be kept confidential. Prior informed consent to participate was verbally received from all respondents before starting the survey. The study did not include minors. The study design and data collection methods were approved by the Ethics Committee of the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT), in alignment with the standards of the German Research Foundation (DFG).
