: This cross-sectional study adhered to the Declaration of Helsinki (2013 revision) and received approval from the Ethics Committee of Xiangya Hospital (No. 202211746). Between December 2021 and December 2023, we consecutively recruited 102 patients with clinically confirmed AA from the Dermatology Clinics of Xiangya Hospital, Central South University.
