: <i>P. longitubus</i> was not included in the list of national and provincial key protected wild plants in China, nor was it classified as a threatened species on the IUCN Red List. As a result, no specific permissions or licenses were required for the sampling of <i>P. longitubus</i> for research purposes, in accordance with the regulations of the People’s Republic of China on the protection of wild plants. Throughout the sampling process, we adhered to the local sampling guidelines to minimize any potential harm to the individual plants being collected.
