: Participants were given participant information leaflets (PILs) on the study and invited to participate. Participation was on a voluntary basis. No personal data was collected from participants. As both surveys were completed anonymously and voluntarily, informed consent was implied through the completion of the survey. All participants in the study were adults and in a position to give their own informed consent. The need for ethics approval was waived by the hospitals’ Institutional Review Board. The study was carried out in accordance with the hospitals guidelines and regulations for carrying out service evaluation and improvement.
