: After completion of a systematic screening of the literature in PubMed by the authors, and manually addition of all the papers that were deemed applicable after in depth review by the authors, ChatGPT was prompted to identify potential key scientific papers that appeared to still have been missed by the authors. The limited number of additional papers retrieved via ChatGPT were included only if deemed appropriate after independent in-depth review of the suggested paper by the authors, following the same strict standards as our main screening. ChatGPT was also used to refine sentence structure, check grammar, and standardize proof‑editing, including abbreviation consistency. No scientific conclusions were drawn by ChatGTP, or by the authors based on output solely from ChatGPT, and the authors take full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the content. The AI model was explicitly not used to generate data or references, and no confidential information was entered into the tool.
