: Whole blood samples were obtained from the Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization (IBTO) following routine viral safety screening. Peripheral blood cells were isolated from blood bags and used for in vitro immunization and cell culture experiments. Informed consent was obtained from all donors by the IBTO prior to blood donation. The study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of the High Institute for Research and Education in Transfusion Medicine (approval No.IR.TMI.REC.1403.004).
