: The study was conducted according to the Ethical Principles for Medical Research Involving Human Subjects, formulated in Helsinki, Finland, in June 1964 and amended by the 64th World Medical Association General Assembly, in Fortaleza, Brazil, in October 2013. The protocol for the GOOD study of young men was approved by the Regional Ethics Review board in Gothenburg (nos. 600-02, 075-03), the study of women (no. 564-03), and the study of pregnant women (nos. 012-06, 051-07).
