: Written informed consent was obtained from all participants with acromegaly included in the study during their hospitalization. Verbal informed consent was obtained in the telephone interview. The thyroid ultrasound data from the health examination center at the Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University were fully anonymized to protect personal information. The data were obtained through an approved application process and were exempted from individual informed consent requirements.
