: Human blood donor broad consent was freely given, specific and informed prior to inclusion in the study. No animals were harmed for the purpose of this study. This study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and in accordance with the EU Directive 2010/63/EU.

: Human donor blood samples were pseudo-anonymised where a digit-code was assigned to each individual. Gender and age of donor were kept only for statistical evaluation of sample diversity. No information regarding donor’s personal data, i.e. place of residence, family, and marital and professional status, was kept. Donor broad consent was freely given, specific and informed prior to inclusion in the study.
