The strict maintenance of participant data confidentiality ensured that private information—such as sexual orientation and other sensitive details—was kept hidden. To preserve participant privacy, all data was safely destroyed when the study was over. Prior to each participant’s involvement in the research, written informed consent was obtained from each participant, and there were no conflicts of interest during the study.
