: The Nifty cup was designed by authors on this paper. Contributions to the design of the Nifty cup were made by Drs. McKinney and Cunningham and Ms. Glass, all at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s; Dr. Coffey at PATH; and Cansu Akarsu, Siddhartha Joshi, and Rashmi Aradhya at Laerdal Global Health who commercialized the cup. None of the authors on this manuscript have a financial conflict of interest. None of the authors receive royalties or other funds from the sale of the Nifty cup.
