: This study involved the use of secondary data and received an ethical clearance exemption from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at University of Cincinnati. Permission to access the Violence Against Children Survey (VACS) dataset was granted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Zimbabwe Ministry of Health and Childcare on April 30th, 2023. Since this study exclusively relied on secondary data, no further informed consent was necessary, and the study was conducted without any competing conflicts of interest.
