: This study was performed in line with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Before the study was initiated, the approval of the Istanbul University Social and Human Sciences Research Ethics Committee (Date: 26.06.2018 / No: 182500/) was obtained. Also, the institutional permission of the Provincial Directorate of National Education (Date: 16.08.2018 / Number: 59090411-20-E.14777798) was obtained. Participation in the study was on a voluntary basis. The participants were informed about the purpose of the study, and written consent of them and their parents were obtained. The school psychological counselor was determined as an expert to whom students can be directed in case of a negative psychological situation.
