: Our study was approved by the Institutional Review Board of the Liver Transplant Institute affiliated with Turgut Ozal Medical Center of Inonu University in Turkey. Next, we obtained ethical approval for our study from the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine at Inonu University (Decision No: 2022/3630, Session No: 12, Date: 21 June 2022). Living liver donors were included in the study only after they signed and submitted an informed consent form upon being informed about the research protocol in compliance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.
