: The paper titled Do transformational leaders reduce the barriers women face in accessing managerial positions? The moderating role of leaders’ gender has been written by Felisa Latorre, Amparo Ramos, Inés Tomás & José Ramos and has been supported by a research grant from Generalitat Valenciana (Ref.:PROMETEO/2016/138).
: The survey was previously approved by union representatives in the company. This study was in accordance with the ethical standards of the company and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.

: Research involves Human Participants answering an online questionnaire. Participants (all employees in the company) were invited to participate through a letter of invitation from the Equal Opportunities Unit of the company, enclosed in its II Equal Opportunities Plan.Participation was voluntary. Survey does not include personal information, only attitudinal variables, sex, age and job. Online questionnaire included a clause ensuring confidentiality and anonymity. In addition, the following sentence appear in the first screen of on-line questionnaire:“When sending the present questionnaires, you accept the voluntary participation in this survey and manifest your consent.”
