: This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Kafkas University, Social and Human Sciences Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Board (Decision No. 65, June 4, 2022). The approval was granted for the master’s thesis entitled “Self-Regulation and Problem Solving in Preschool Children: The Mediating Role of Number Sense” , conducted by graduate student Büşra Yaşar in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education.
