Ethical approval and consent: According to German law applicable at the time of data collection (2018), non-medical, minimal-risk educational research did not require formal approval by an external ethics committee. As no institutional ethics committee for this type of research was established at the Technical University of Munich at that time, the ethical oversight was provided through an internal departmental review. No ethical concerns were identified. The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and applicable data protection regulations. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants and their legal guardians.
