: The study was conducted according to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and followed current Good Clinical Practice (GCP-ICH) guidelines. The investigation protocol, titled “Management of the ulnar nerve using an adipofascial flap in elbow surgery” (retrospective monocentric study), was approved by the Independent Ethics Committee “Lazio 2”, as documented by Protocol No. 0095027/2020, dated June 10, 2020, and registered under Study 61.20 (Protocol No. 0085804 of May 25, 2020). The clinical activities were conducted at the Hand and Microsurgical Unit of the Jewish Hospital of Rome, Italy, under the supervision of Dr. Alessia Pagnotta. The study retrospectively analyzed 53 patients who underwent elbow surgery between December 2020 and December 2023, in which the ulnar nerve was managed and covered using various adipofascial flap techniques to reduce post-operative neuropathy and improve functional outcomes. Prior to enrollment, all patients received detailed oral and written information about the study, including its purpose, procedures, potential risks, benefits, and available alternative treatments. Informed consent was obtained from each participant before any study-related procedure was initiated.
