: Matthew Lambert is a developer of the <i>Behavioral and Emotional Rating Scale–3</i> and has a financial interest in sales of the assessment. This study was reviewed by the IRB at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Northern Colorado. Both IRBs determined that the study was exempt research because it was conducted in typical educational settings involving typical educational practices and no identifying data were collected. Informed consent was waived because this study met each criteria of 45 CFR 46.116(f).
