: The Institutional Review Board of the Robert Hollman Foundation (protocol number 8/2017) approved the study. The study was performed in accordance with the ethical standards as laid down in the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and data obtained for clinical purposes to monitor riluzole treatment on a compassionate use program were retrieved from institutional records of the participating centers and collected in an anonymized dataset.
