: This study was approved by the New England Independent Review Board under approval number 120190444, 2020. Informed consent to participate in this study was obtained from all participants prior to their enrollment. Participants were fully informed about the study’s purpose, procedures, potential risks, the voluntary nature of their participation, and the right to withdraw from the study at any time without any penalty or consequence. The informed consent process ensured that participants understood the study details, including the post-cataract surgery follow-up visits, the medications administered, and the potential risks associated with the study. This study was conducted in accordance with the principles set out in the Declaration of Helsinki (1964) and its subsequent amendments, ensuring that ethical standards were upheld throughout the research.Informed consent for publication was also obtained from all participants. Specifically, this includes consent for the use of anonymized data, images, and photographs collected during the study, as well as any other study-related information, for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Participants were informed that their data would be de-identified, and no personal identifiers would be included in any published materials. They were also made aware that their consent for publication could not be withdrawn after data has been anonymized and submitted for publication. Participants were assured that all reasonable measures would be taken to maintain confidentiality and privacy in accordance with data protection laws. The consent for publication was separate from the consent to participate in the study, and participants had the opportunity to review the consent form and ask questions before providing their written consent.
