: Ethical issues are likely to arise during the conduct of a research study. For one, this study drew on private patient data that is readily available at the study sites. That notwithstanding, since the data is private ethical clearance was sought from the owners of the facilities, Ghana Health Service and other institutions. The approvals are listed as follows: Ethics Committee for Basic and Applied Sciences (ECBAS), Universityof Ghana (REF. No: ECBAS 012/21-22),. Permissions were sought and granted by all the Heads and Managers ofinstitutions responsible for the mammography facilities that were used inthis study.
