: All the experiments were executed by obeying the institutional guidelines. West Bengal State University Institutional Animal ethical committee (IAEC) and Human Ethical committee (IHEC) constituted in accordance with the Committee for the Purpose of Control And Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA) and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) guidelines respectively have approved the experiments. It is also certified that informed consent was obtained for any experimentation with human subjects. In this study, one of the co-authors, Mrs. Sonali Bhattacharya voluntarily donated blood from which PBMC was collected and haemolytic assay was done.
