: This study has been conducted following the ethical guidelines endorsed by the University of Calcutta, University Grant Commission, and Govt. of India. No vertebrate animals have been sampled, which are already forbidden to be captured from the wild. No surveys and sampling procedures were extended to the protected areas and the water bodies within.
