: A well known probiotic bacteria Ligilactobacillus salivarius is isolated from the midgut of Eri silkworm and it shows antibacterial activity against some bacterial pathogen. Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulgaris and Bacillus thuringiensis are causal organism of bacterial flacherie, the disease causes significant percentage of crop loss each year. Present investigation focused on formulation of probiotic bacteria using Ligilactobacillus salivarius which have antibacterial capacity that might enhance the production in sericulture industry and also reduces the loss.
